증상

"partly as a result of the Taycan becoming a noose around too many owners’ necks."What does this mean? Are they particularly unreliable? I'd heard generally positive things from Taycan owners.

I don't hate the Emeya (and PH might want to reconsider calling it a "saloon", as it's a five-door liftback hatch). The problem to me is that, as a purchase prospect, it falls into a bit of a gap in the market at 2-3 years old and £63k.Brand new with a manufacturer discount to fulfil their EV quota and leased tax-efficiently through a company, yes makes sense - you're effectively paying half price for a brand new, warranted, smart, highly capable, cheap to run car.Taycan for £30-40k, yes, fantastic value for what it is, drives really well.A mid-range EV like a Tesla, Polestar, BMW at 3 years old for £20-25k, yes, very good capable low-stress low-cost daily with enough range, and depreciation much shallower from this point, getting towards breakeven against the fuel savings vs petrol. Renault 5 as a second car, yes, fun, cheap, cool and very suitable for shorter trips.But to pay over £60k for this just feels like a lot of money for a not-new car that's still got a lot of value left to lose, and is bigger and heavier than a Taycan.
