증상
연료가 거의 없는 상태(예비연료)에서 시동을 걸려고 할 때 크랭킹이 되지 않음. 이웃이 연료를 가져온 후 연료 페달을 여러 번 펌프질한 후 시동이 걸림. 그 이후로 매번 시동할 때 오랫동안 크랭킹한 후 시작됨. 시동 후에는 매우 낮은 회전수(거의 0에 가까운)에서 아이들링 중.
처리 내용
엔진이 정상적으로 시동된 후 정상적으로 작동한다면, 공기 공급 부족이나 점화 부족은 아닐 가능성이 높음. 공기 부족이면 아이들링이 거칠거나 불안정하고, 점화 부족이면 엔진이 멈추거나 심하게 진동할 것. 시동 후 엔진음이 정상이라면 압축 부족도 배제 가능. 연료펌프를 점검하는 것을 권장 - 연료 탱크에 연료가 거의 없는 상태에서는 펌프가 더 강하게 작동해야 하며, 특히 연료 라인의 압력을 형성하고 시동에 필요한 충분한 연료를 공급하기 위해 추가 작업이 필요함. 저연료 상태에서는 연료펌프가 연료 탱크 내 이물질을 흡입할 가능성이 높아짐.

The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car. If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
