증상
1986 코르벳 컨버터블(알루미늄 헤드)에서 핫 스타트 및 가속 시 93옥탄 휘발유 사용 중에도 노킹(핑) 발생. 엔진 연소실에 탄소 침적이 쌓여 있다고 추정됨.
처리 내용
E85 또는 E35 혼합 휘발유 사용은 권장하지 않음. 에탄올 연료는 휘발유보다 에너지 밀도가 낮아서 같은 출력을 위해 더 많은 연료가 필요함. 1986년식 차량의 컴퓨터는 E35 수준의 에탄올 혼합유를 보정할 수 없어 혼합비가 희박(lean)해져서 오히려 노킹이 악화되고 엔진 손상 위험 증가. E10 이상의 에탄올 연료는 고무 부품을 손상시킴. E10은 오래된 차량도 견딜 수 있지만 그 이상은 피해 발생. 대신 탄소 침적 제거를 위해 고옥탄 휘발유(93옥탄 이상) 지속 사용 또는 전문적인 엔진 세척/디카본 서비스 고려 권장.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
