Ask your grandchildren if they know what ripping is.You have a new car by my standards, mine are 20 and 21 years old!No Multi-changer in either of them sadly, but my brief experiment with an MP3 player didn't go well. Every time I stopped the car it went back to the first track and it ran out of charge in a couple of hours so I haven't bothered with it since.A previous car did have a multichanger beh

But my 15 year old car has a hard disk head unit, so I can rip my CDs to it and so no need to plug an external source in.But I do know that owning music on CD is old hat, but I like it.This thread is like a look back into a previous era. (It may well explain some of the views held by PHers!)I made an abortive move away from CDs in the early 2000s when my wife bought me an iPod. But the storage was useless at the time and the software appalling. I did persevere with a Creative Nomad (anyone?) on which I could store a lot of CD quality albums but it was still a bit of a faff.I also remember being intrigued by early internet radio and early DAB because, in theory, you find a niche station playing exactly the genre you wanted without the inane DJ guff you get on regular channels. Like pirate radio in the 2000s. You'd get a solid hour of tunes with only the occasional shout out/club ad. But neither thing really delivered for me in the end.And then Spotify came along and BOOM I finally had what I'd been looking for for years. I now have loads of playlists across a range of genres, albums, artist radio etc etc. Plus all the spoken stuff I could ever want in podcasts and audio books. So the 6 CD changer and PCMIA card in the dash, the music register (in the boot?) and the MMI connections in the glove box have been rendered about as useful and relevant as a telex machine.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
