모듈식 클러치란 무엇인가?

SRT-4에 관련해서 읽은 내용에 따르면, 모듈식 클러치는 올인원 셋업이다. 압력판, 클러치 디스크, 플라이휠이 "플렉스플레이트"에 장착되는 사전조립된 한 개의 부품이다. 플렉스플레이트는 대부분의 자동차에서 플라이휠이 장착되는 곳에 장착된다 (크랭크에 및 스타터 모터용 외부 톱니). 이것은 주로 설치 용이성을 위한 것이며, 구성품들은 설치 중이 아닌 제조사의 조립 단계에서 정렬된다. 모듈식 클러치를 일반적인 애프터마켓 클러치로 교체하려면 플라이휠을 구입해야 한다. 플렉스플레이트를 제거하고, 그 자리에 플라이휠을 장착한 다음 일반적인 방식으로 디스크와 커버를 장착한다. 다음에 클러치를 교체할 때는 플라이휠이 손상되지 않는 한 플라이휠을 교체할 필요가 없다.
