The tanks needed for cold gas thrusters that can do what was done in the demo will be as large as the cars interior. For any kind of distance or practicality, this will not happen. It's a ketamine induced fantasy designed to milk more money out of the shareholders.

As a poster pointed out in the very early pages of this thread, the demonstrated 'flying car [shaped object]' is no more a flying car than that remote controlled blimp shaped like a Vauxhall Astra that flew around the Top Gear studio over 20 years ago. The 'flying' Roadster is about as real as a stunt car in a James Bond film. It may have actually happened in that particular shot, but it's not an actual Aston Martin with machine guns in the wings, a BMW 7-Series with a cable-cutter in the bonnet badge or a Lotus Elise that can become a submarine. It's the result of a lot of clever design and engineering to make the stunt happen and give the appearance of what was required, and it's a cool sequence to watch. But it doesn't actually exist as a functional product. Edited by 2xChevrons on Saturday 17th October 16:42 Do people think it’s real though? Or do people realise it’s a stunt to publicise a car [shape] that will quite likely be for sale. I’d imagine 99% of people don’t actually think you’ll be able to buy a flying car in 2028. I’d like to bet that a lot of concept cars are not actually useable as a car.

You wouldn’t want to charge this at a motorway services too often - it could be £120 to fill up!
I quite like it, and in the metal it looks nice and modern.Hopefully bmw is returning to make handsome cars. Just don’t stick M badges everywhere.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.
포르쉐 카이엔
A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
