Back home charging on public chargers is about 2/3 the price of running on petrol for me.For sure if you turn up at a random public charger in the UK then you will pay significantly more than if you did a bit of research.Ionity and Tesla both offer subscriptions, so if you need to use public charging often for a single month, or more, then you sub to one of these to unlock much cheaper rates. -> Ionity : 47p kWh-> Tesla : 40p to 55p kwh (depending on the time of day)Both of these are cheaper than filling up with fuel, even if the fuel car averages 50+ MPG.
