Whilst more and more of us charge in off peak and with people doing so for house batteries too, the whole low load argument will decay. The consumption of electricity will also go up significantly. The holiday is about to be over . The other argument is sharing out any low cost slots not just to people who have leased Chinese electric vehicles. Is it fair my elderly mother doesn't want to put her electric fir

I could get a taycan tomorrow and save loads of corp tax .if I wanted a taycan.I just think it s an odd choice of where cheap rate electricity is directed and who benefits based on need.If there were not buyers of off peak then on peak rates would need to be higher so lower income households directly benefit. The problem is that few people look beyond the price tag of anything before leaping towards the illuminati and other perfectly sound reasonings. They're also quick to forget that many low income households don't pay income tax, don't pay council tax, don't pay rent, don't pay for a lot of things and some have never paid anything their entire life while none have ever been net taxpayers. But many get very upset when they see people they don't like getting something they don't think they deserve. I don t not like people who choose to have an EV. I also understand about off peak use of electricity. Maybe you didn t like my little plan to still use the off peak electricity but direct the benefit to low income pensioners in winter. Seems doable to me. I do find it a bit strange that under a left wing govt they are allowing what are generally much higher earners (with 50-150k EV s) to benefit so much from luxury purchases. Again, I m not bitter, it s seems hard to justify in the current economic climate. We're only really in the first year that sub £30k EVs have come to market and are usable. Give it another 12 months and there will really be no valid reason to offer low BIK on any vehicle costing more than around £40k. But don't forget, that benefit in kind is in part an offset to the big tax hikes on those workers. It's basically the equivalent of taking £100 off someone and giving them a fiver back etc. Off peak electricity isn't cost effective to store at source so it must be sold. Selling it for 8p to domestic users is better than selling for 2

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
