I seriously considered buying a new 2.0 last year, the wife wasn't keen on spending that much money though. There's a lot to like about them, though if you are considering one do a bit of research first as they're not without their problems. Lots of good info out there in the owners forums.Off the top of my head..Drain blockages from the panoramic roof leading to water ingress (Porsche will clear them for you but charges accordingly)Transfer box issues, requiring replacement (affects pre-2023 cars most as I recall)Rear window wash tube disconnects at the T-piece when below freezing, floods the boot of the car (the whole rear of the car has to be dismantled to fix, Porsche won't cover under warranty unless you use Porsche approved screen wash).Bolts breaking on the V6 timing casings leading to oil leaks.Still like them though, but bearing in mind Porsche servicing costs I'm glad we give it a pass.

I think there’s also an element of people being scared. As a wider point people appear to want to follow rather than lead when driving. I wonder if consciously or subconsciously, when they enter a virtually empty car park, they struggle to make an independent decision. They wonder if they’re allowed to park there, so they see another car and think “I’ll park there, next to that car. As others have said.A. You won't lose your NCD & even if you did you would be surprised how little difference it would actually make, it is not like you get 60% off or similar. Been there twice.B. The great majority of decent "approved" repairers will ask the question (or you can obviously) whether you need a car for the time the car is in for repair. They generally charge either nothing or just ask that you replace the fuel you use. Been there twice also obviously.
