The heat pump grant appears to be the only one that you can get if you're a homeowner and not on benefits or a pauper. So if you're not in one of those categories, you'll need to find a few quid to insulate your house before you will be given some towards a heat pump. Lads who installed my wall insulation said they'd never done one before where the customer was payi

Whilst more and more of us charge in off peak and with people doing so for house batteries too, the whole low load argument will decay. The consumption of electricity will also go up significantly. The holiday is about to be over . The other argument is sharing out any low cost slots not just to people who have leased Chinese electric vehicles. Is it fair my elderly mother doesn't want to put her electric fire on whilst I charge my car for 10p a unit . No it isn't.Being able to sell excess capacity at times of low demand reduces what they need to charge your mum.But his mum isn t sitting in front of the electric fire between midnight and 6am. She s paying 27p in the winter afternoons and evenings. She s not. But the assets being used to produce electricity at 27p in the afternoons and evenings are able to do that economically viably in part because someone is able to pay 8p in the early hours when otherwise they would be earning nothing. Well it would be quite easy to still have the cheap rate at night for domestic appliances and heating but not external devices, like EV s, mostly running through its own monitored wallbox. The smart systems could easily identify this. The EV rate could be could be charged at the standard rate for 24hrs, but the 19p saving overnight could be directed to a pot that is used by the provider to lower winter rates for qualifying pensioners only, in winter months. The grid is still using its overnight wind or whatever it needs to use but poor pensioners effectively get the cheap, rather than powerfully built directors to fill up their 80k EV on the cheap instead. Or maybe you think that wouldn t be fair, even though it would still only be costing you £15 to add 2-300 miles range overnight instead of £5.Why on earth would I charge my EV when it is convenient for the g

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
