파사트 R36 일본 수입차 소유. 차량 구입 후 2년 경과. 휠은 은색으로 새로 복원됨. 언더코팅 상태 확인 및 유지보수 계획 중.
처리 내용
휠 아치 라이너 제거 후 깊은 청소 권장 (스노우폼 사용, 스크럽, 헹굼, 철저한 건조). 건조 후 UB(언더보디) 제품을 보이지 않는 부위(실, 캐비티 등)에, UC 제품을 서스펜션 부품과 휠 아치 안쪽에 도포. Bilthammer 제품(특히 Auto Foam) 사용 권장. 가을/겨울-봄 시즌에는 Touchless 제품으로 접촉식 세차 피하기. 전체 작업에 하루 소요되나 충분히 가치 있음.

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more.But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
