Nice, still like these. I frequently consider getting a 2017 model if not wanting hybrid or 2018 if do want, as I think that’s when the hybrid came in. The tax yesterday on phev hybrids made me think it’s safer to stay with 100% petrol!I have a mini which I really like but annoyingly it uses oil which is why I keep looking at these. Good job on the mirror and defo not worth insurance agro. Pisser the bloody woman ran over the mirror back though.

The last few MOTs have an advisory for a corroded fuel pipe so I will probably get that done too.The only downside to the car is that I am going to have to put a black box on it, gutted ?I plan on keeping this updated whenever I do anything to it if I remember.PS. This pistonheads forum is what sold me the car, it has clearly been taken care of, so thanks to the original owner for that.Congratulations! Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
