If so, should one really be labelled "in"?Also I like that it's called a "restomod". I bet Singer have put it on their eBay watchlist for inspiration. To be fair the advert does say it needs more work! If someone finishes it properly it will be quite a thing.Much as I like custom cars, I almost hope that nobody does finish that Viva. The Viva (or Firenza) was a monocoque car that relied, for strength and crash safety, on an inner-body structure to which mechanical bits and outer panels were attached. It should look like this under the bonnet:The half-finished Firenza, therefore, has had its entire front structure cut away and replaced with a couple of bits of steel box section that are braced against, well, absolutely nothing. The 'pipes', which are the sort of upper member of the chassis appear to be welded directly to the bulkhead and the bottom bits of rectangular-section steel are cut and welded and then, finally, terminate in a steel cross-piece that's somehow expected to do the work of both inner sills and transmission tunnel. That car would quite literally fall to pieces, were it to be involved in any sort of crash. It's awful. For reference, the factory-trim Viva had about a tenth of the horsepower that thing supposedly puts out. Below is a photo of a real Viva front axle:Look at it: far stronger than the home-made concoction under the far-more-powerful Firenza. The car either needs a proper hot-rod chassis (which can be bought) or someone competent to fabricate a full space frame.
