I bought a new Macan S back in May 2023. I specced in very nicely. Including Air suspension, and the brilliant Burmeister sound system, pan roof etc.I have to say, it was one of the best all rounders I've ever owned. Loved the way it looked on the outside, and the interior was a step up from what I'd owned before. Ride and handling was way better than the BMW X3 M40i that went before it.Stick it in Sports plus, and it felt like driving a hot hatch, all be it a slightly larger & heavier one. But for it's size, it was still decent on back roads.I only sold it as I ordered a new 911. Had funds allowed, I'd have loved to have kept it, as it really was a do it all car. I acknowledge that I am OCD on my car and should chill, but really what is going on in the head of the driver who parked their car next to mine?My car is the MX5, it is 8 months old, has some stone chips on the front, every other panel is unmarked. When I parked the car yesterday at the gym the whole section of the car park was empty. When I came out this is what I found.

I think there’s also an element of people being scared. As a wider point people appear to want to follow rather than lead when driving. I wonder if consciously or subconsciously, when they enter a virtually empty car park, they struggle to make an independent decision. They wonder if they’re allowed to park there, so they see another car and think “I’ll park there, next to that car. They must know something or I can hide behind them if something bad happens.”To the wider point, I’m seeing a lot of people at traffic lights with two lanes waiting for the other driver to move before they do when

As others have said.A. You won't lose your NCD & even if you did you would be surprised how little difference it would actually make, it is not like you get 60% off or similar. Been there twice.B. The great majority of decent "approved" repairers will ask the question (or you can obviously) whether you need a car for the time the car is in for repair. They generally charge either nothing or just ask that you replace the fuel you use. Been there twice also obviously.
