DonkeyApple said: You have to charge for time parked not electricity used. That way you deliver a financial penalty for just leaving the car there or doing a full charge. You'll then have the folks who work late so never find a free charger along with those who deem themselves far more important than others. Street chargers for U.K. low income residents will be an utter clustrefk and always loss making unless the hourly parking rate is high enough, at which point the residents will miraculously work out that they can charge elsewhere very easily. Using the Tesla model will fix that. You park

Why? Just curious from how you wrote your replies.I have two petrol cars and a motorbike. I have one remaining Diesel, having just sold a Diesel SUV and bought my first EV. I bought a three year old one to test the water a bit .It's ok getting used to it . Some aspects I really like , some not so . There is not much occasion it's like a good way of getting somewhere and I have already noticed the cost benefits, purchase price aside. My son took a look at the EV and said it was a washing machine and I get the analogy. Very efficient at cleaning your clothes but you wouldn't get attached to it . It has made me appreciate my big petrol car more from a driving perspective.Would you be enthusiastic about a petrol powered washing machine? Does your son clean his clothes in an EV? Or have you literally been trying to drive around in a washing machine? We have many appliances. Appliances are useful. They are a good thing. We don't need to become emotionally attached to all of them. For many (most) people a car is an appliance.A car is the second most expensive thing that you'll buy after your house, so it's important to like it for me. If folk just see them as an appliance, then they should drive around in an electric car I reckon. Is your house petrol powered? 99% of the cars I've bought in my life have been because I thought they would be fun, even the first electric one.On Monday I'm buying a crossover EV that takes nearly 10 looooong seconds to get to 60 and has the dynamic ability of a pig. But it's lovely inside and is a nice place to sit, a lot like my house buying criteria. So I reckon the house analogy works well. I'm getting too old and busy to worry quite as much about hitting an apex on the B3056 and a bit more bothered about

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
