Well I’m off to look at a set of RL7’s today.Pic pinched from FB of a very similar coloured Cerb and I think they look great
Ooh, close! Thanks, i'm very excited. Honestly, I was a bit emotional just seeing her on her wheels with all the body panels in place. I'll probably be blubbing like a child when i drive it for the first time, I am quite attached already The real damage is to one of the doors and the bonnet, the car sat outside at the previous owners house (near the sea) for at least 5 years i think - through all sorts of storms that brought branches down and various debris damage. Luckily the glass is all intact but the bodywork is generally pretty shabby. Poor thing has just been unloved and neglected since 2013.Even then, the tyres are dated 04 so it was on 9 year old tyres when it was last MOT'd. They are now perished (worst one loses 5psi in 12 hours) and feel like plastic.

And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. More recently I contacted a seller on FB, we agreed a price and then he blocked me...So I broke the first rule of car buying and bought one s

I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
