Sports car sales in the U.S. are declining as the Boomers stop buying and Millenials favour SUVs etc. The lack of spending power will play a significant role, I'm sure, as the sports car purchase is usually a second or third car but fundamentally it's he tastes between the two core consumer generations are different and the older one is rapidly exciting the market. The huge upside is the values of 60s sports cars are plummeting. I am a millennial and that couldn't be further from the truth. Maybe the generation after but we all grew up with G

No one cares about outliers other than the illiterate and the dishonest. I would say Millennials have been shaped into a certain mould due to the economics around them rather than Millennials themselves ditching sports cars. Boomers and Gen X had very little to worry about really. Millennials have gone through 9/11, 2008 and Covid. I would say those events were far more influential than a generational culture shift away from sports cars. All this boomer, Gen X, millenial and Z stuff etc is just always an excuse to blame someone else for something. All those generations have lived through the things you mention and actually if you re younger then stuff like the 2008 banking crisis has given you 15 years or the cheapest mortgages ever. Everything is swings and roundabouts. Every generation has good stuff and st stuff, it s just different. Talking about boomers and Gen X as if they didn t have a care in the world is just bullst and some of them are only a year older than the oldest millennial. Talking about someone who is 46 like they are done is just crap. Yup. It's just 'woe is me' guff that conveniently forgets or is unaware of the last actual recession in 1989 or the 70s fuel crisis. Although the latter looks like society is about to get a reminder. The truth is that we buy in our 50s what inspired us before our teens. For the Boomers that was sports cars. For Gen X and Millenials it's very much not as we grew up in the 80s when there were far more things than just sports cars to desire. The fact that GenX and Millenials are buying £100k+ cars by the bucket load also somewhat suggests that the lack of desire for sports cars is not a financial issue but just part of the Broken Br

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
