Not as practical in terms of luggage space or having rear seats as my 911 but you can still cram a fair bit in to the rear boot/between the seats and the bulkhead if you use soft bags. Oh and I forgot to mention the mirrors, the design of them is lovely - they undoubtedly add to the width of the car but among the best rear view mirrors I've ever used. Might sound like a small point but a really good set of mirrors is a real bonus on auto-routes/autobahns at Leptons. Looks great! Very, very attention grabbing I'm sure - I had my test drive in a yellow car and it drew lots of attention in the short time I was in it.Regarding the size, they're much, much bigger than photos make them look, aren't they.Wider than a 992 and only 100mm shorter.

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more.But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
