I don't like the colour at all, but then at the same time it's the perfect colour for the Q car effect.Would love a go.

It was unreliable, things fell off it (I remember the exhaust falling off that having to tie it up with a windscreen rubber. And it rusted, rusted everywhere, I fought a two year battle with it until I could afford to change it for something less hateful.So not for me!My auntie had the N/A diesel - she was a district nurse, it was a company car so she was forever driving it around unfamiliar roads, getting surprised by hills that it couldn't climb without losing speed. I remember she absolutely hated it!Cars just rusted so much in the 1980's Had a 1981 Cortina - everything rusty at 5 years old (fortunately metalic brown so hid it quite well) Then had an 1984 Cavalier SRi - bottom doors rotted away in 3 or 4 years - grey/blue - the grey bottom half hid the rust a bit Then had a 1988 Cavalier SRi130 - same as the 1.8 SRi but looked awful as grey/white and the white showed up rust bleeds horrendously (put me off white cars forever !!) Finally our 1st second car was a 1983 (probably) Metro 1.0l in red (commute car only) - that rusted for fun and there were holes in the wings, valance and probably many other places when I sold it in 1989 covered in P38 and rattle can repairs for £100 or something Frankly, I do not miss those days at all !!
