I like EVs and really want an i3 but I’m afraid I can’t see a single reason for paying actual cash for one of these compared with the X3 M40i you used to have. You won’t save money (by the time you factor in selling the BMW, buying the iPace and then the depreciation on the iPace vs the BMW. Irrespective of money and even if there was a modest saving, the X3 is a FAR nicer place to be for those few miles you do annually.

However, given that it will cost around £3k more to drive 10k miles in an X3 compared to the I-Pace, it will be far cheaper to run the Jaguar.
