2007 Toyota Camry XLE (6기통) 배터리 케이블을 잘못된 단자에 연결한 후, 케이블을 올바르게 연결해도 시동은 걸리지만 시속 25km 이상으로 가지 않음. 정비소에서 진단 결과 스로틀바디 교체 필요(비용: $1,258)

얼터네이터 교환

2010 Honda Odyssey이 저속 정면 충돌(약 10mph 이하) 후 10~20분 뒤에 전기 계통 전체가 끊어지고 엔진이 정지됨. 외관상 손상은 미미한 것으로 보임.

2000 캠리의 이그니션 키가 양쪽 방향으로 삽입되었을 때 작동하던 대칭형 치형인데, 수개월 전부터 이그니션 락이 간헐적으로 걸리기 시작함. 한쪽 방향으로 삽입될 때만 걸림. 키가 한쪽 면에서 마모되었을 가능성과 락 실린더 내부의 문제 발생 가능성 사이에서 판단 필요.

2006 Dodge Caravan SXT가 시동이 걸리지 않아 점프 스타트가 필요함. 시동 후에는 정상 운행되지만, 시동을 끄면 다시 점프 스타트가 필요한 상황 반복. 배터리는 2년 전 교체됨.

정기점검

리스한 포드 차량에서 몇 개월 운행 중 여러 문제 발생. 지역 스톤애크 정비소에 예약했는데 진단비가 £200으로 책정됨.

허머(5500lbs)의 엔진 출력이 약 190마력인데 카무리SE(3300lbs)보다 낮은 이유가 궁금합니다. 고속도로 50mph 주행에 약 35마력만 필요하다는 정보를 봤습니다. 세단 엔진과 허머 엔진의 토크 대 RPM 그래프가 어떻게 다른지, 일반적인 작동 지점은 어디인지 궁금합니다. 허머 엔진이 더 낮은 회전수에서 더 높은 토크로 최고 출력에 가까운 지점에서 작동하는 것 같은데요?

엔진오일 교환

2000년식 토요타 시에나 LE에서 매일 아침 시동 걸 때 배기가스에서 파란 연기가 2~3분간 대량으로 나오다가 점점 줄어듦. 최근 오일 교환 후에도 같은 현상이 발생하지만 지속 시간이 더 짧음. 엔진이 오일을 태우고 있을 수 있는지 의문.

머플러 교환

2015 Subaru WRX STi에서 배기가스 배출구에서 하얀 연기가 나오고 있으며, 연기에서 타는 전자부품 냄새가 남. 엔진베이에서도 하얀 연기가 보임. 엔진 온도계는 정상, 엔진 경고등 없음, 오일 표시등 없음, 아이들링 및 엔진 운전감에 이상 없음.

Fiat Punto 188 1.3 JTD Multijet (2005, 180,000km): 800~2800 RPM 범위에서 급가속 시 강한 쇼크 발생. 엔진 경고등 점등 후 3000 RPM 이상 회전 불가능 (재시동 필요). 고장 코드: 연료 압력 낮음, 연료 압력 높음. 연료 압력 센서 교체 및 고압 펌프 점검 완료했으나 미해결.

미시간의 큰 포트홀을 통과한 후 차량이 큰 충격을 받았습니다. 타이어나 주변에 명확한 손상은 보이지 않지만, 무엇을 확인해야 할지 잘 모르겠습니다. 포트홀로 인해 휠 밸런스나 얼라인먼트가 손상되었을 가능성이 있으며, 즉시 눈에 띄지 않는 손상도 있을 수 있습니다.

Mobile phone use is banned yet operating design compels drivers to use a screen whilst forfeiting tactile touch. Safety is compromised. So much for the construction and use regulations. Someone must have done a study on this by now.

It maybe just me but I really think car manufacturers are missing an opportunity with this one.There just aren't any Shooting Brakes any more. Maybe the Fezza FF or it's newer equivalent but that's about it.Here I am an empty nester. I like a nice car. I also have a dog. 90% of my journeys it's just me and my dog with the Mrs tagging along say half the time. 4 seats would be nice for the occasional times we have guests but would be rarely used.
