브릿지스톤 투란자 225/40R18 전륜 타이어에 커다란 컷 손상 발견. 주행거리 약 18,000km, 타이어 나이 약 5년. 컷 부분에서 금속으로 보이는 물질이 노출되어 있음. 구조적 손상인지 표면 손상인지 확실하지 않음.
컷 부분에서 금속이 보인다면 사이드월 강화층(metal sidewall reinforcement)이 손상되어 타이어 구조적 무결성이 손상된 것이므로 즉시 교체해야 함. 금속으로 보이는 부분이 타이어 강성을 위한 와이어라 하더라도 구조적 무결성이 여전히 손상될 수 있음. 이 정도 크기의 컷은 계속 운전하기에 안전하지 않음. 타이어 트레드 잔량도 많지 않고 타이어 나이가 5년으로 진행 중인 점을 감안하면 교체 권장. 안전상 즉시 교체하는 것이 좋음.

I appreciate that this isn t a very Pistonheads kind of vehicle but I thought it might be of a little bit of interest to some. Despite the love I had for my Fiat Panda 4x4 Cross winter car, I ve always really hankered after one of the latest Suzuki Jimny s but never actually did it whilst they were officially available in the UK. However, I recently got the chance to pick up a brand new import and decided to go for it.The car is exactly as it left the factory but I did get the dealer to upgrade the tyres for me as I d read some pretty poor (snow) reviews about the Dunlop Grand Trek tyres that
