I'm curious what the profile like? Is the sidewall height ~90mm - i.e. they've deliberately done this, or is it significantly less?

Right, just had a long chat with the old man.Originally, he had CrossClimate 2 all round (all 255/35 R20). All quite new, not that many miles on them. Got a puncture in one. Went to tyre place, wanted a new CrossClimate 2, they said no longer available but the CrossClimate 3 was the replacement. My dad asked if he could mix and match the V3 with the V2 on the same axle, the fitter said YES. My dad, who is quite particular about his cars and tyres, said no he wanted matching tyres on the same axle and would keep the good V2 as a spare in case he got a puncture on the fronts.Got the V3s fitted, drove home the 12 miles from the fitter, wasn't happy with the handling, checked pressures when he got home to find that one of the rears had no air. Obviously we can assume that the fitter must have put air in the tyre (!), so it must have lost it on the way home, probably as a result of the less than brilliant contact area of the tyre on the rim.Then he came to see me, and here we are.Just checked on the Michelin website.CrossClimate 2 are available in certain sizes, but NOT in 255/35 R20.CrossClimate 3 are available, but NOT in 255/35 R20.CrossClimate 3 Sport are the only ones available in 255/35 R20.His current situation is that he's not driving the car and doesn't want the V3s because of how they "fit" the alloy and don't protect the rim (and one has already lost air on a short journey). He can't get V2s or V3 non-Sport, so even if he gets a whole different brand he'll have to mix and match brands front to rear unless he changes all 4 (and ends up with x3 nearly-new V2 tyres).Fitter isn't interested, says it's down to the manufacturer tyre pattern. Fitter suggested mixing a V3 Sport and a V2 on the same axle would be fine, looking at how different they are I think that would have been terrible advice.BlackCircles aren't interested, basically say they've delivered what he ordered, end of story.I've told him to get an answer out of Michelin: are these tyres, with a contact p
