증상
자동차 과열 및 엔진룸에서 흰 연기 발생
처리 내용
냉각수 누수가 있는 상태입니다. 흰 연기가 엔진룸에서 나오면 라디에이터, 호스 또는 가스켓에서 냉각수가 누수되고 있습니다. 배기관에서 나오면 냉각수가 엔진 내부로 누수되고 있습니다(심각한 상황). 배기관에서 나오면 정비소에 가야 합니다. 엔진룸에서 나오면 엔진이 충분히 식은 후 라디에이터(예비 탱크가 아님)를 다시 채웁니다. 당분간 물로 임시 해결 가능합니다. 그 후 엔진을 시동하고 물 2-3통을 가지고 다니면서 정기적으로 멈춰서 흰 연기가 어디서 나오는지 확인하면 누수 위치를 파악할 수 있습니다. 보통 호스일 가능성이 높으며 교체 비용이 저렴합니다. 워터펌프 가스켓일 수도 있습니다(저렴한 수리). 라디에이터에 구멍이 있을 수도 있습니다. 라디에이터 누수인 경우 지역 자동차 부품점에서 누수 플러그 제품을 구입할 수 있습니다.

For those who have followed my previous MX-5 thread, you may remember that I was considering purchasing a new car for some time. The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car.
