Having taken much inspiration from Wilkinsn89 write up earlier this year and the terrific builds of poppopbangbang, my wife and I have committed to entering next years spring edition. among the million other questions I likely to have, one of the basics is the rally dates and how they relate to the running of the event? Next years dates are 19-27 march, so is the 19th the scrutineering and organisation day or the first โ€œcompetitiveโ€ day? We are both self employed so trying to sort our travel logistics early.I have popped this in readers cars, as there will be updates to this as that journey co

MAGA land's pivot away from electric is politically expedient and may earn some cash in the short term... but the politics look shaky already, and longer term Detroit will get buried by the global car industry.Enthusiasts aside, for all sorts of reasons EVs just make sense. Fuel security, running costs, reliability, refinement, packaging... in bumper-to-bumper traffic, doing the school run, shopping, commuting, who cares about V8s and Baja-grade suspension. So, yes, this Jeep looks fun, but it's emblematic of an industry that has been swayed by an angry old fat man into acting against it's own

Well, as I indicated in my other thread, I jumped ship and replaced the 330i with a 530d in Touring flavour.Dealer pics:Obligatory forecourt shot after picking it up:My first diesel (other than rentals) so had to be really careful to make sure I'm using the correct pump.Must haves were Driver Assistant Professional, HUD, adaptive suspension, lumbar, heated steering wheel and Adaptive LEDs (if not lasers). This one doesn't have the heated steering wheel and has only the basic LEDs (boo) but that will be taken care of hopefully. It's got a panoramic roof, sensatec dash and various other bits and
