증상
2004 Ford Focus SE 2.0L 엔진에서 오일 누유 발생. 정비사가 밸브 커버 가스켓 손상 의심. 엔진 밸브 커버를 열기 위해 모든 볼트를 풀었으나 커버가 전혀 떨어지지 않음.
처리 내용
모든 볼트가 풀렸는지 확장 확인 (특히 아래쪽 행에 3개 구멍이 있어야 함). 타이밍 커버 볼트도 느슨하게 풀 필요가 있음. 고무 망치로 커버를 부드럽게 두드려 가스켓을 풀어줌. 커버를 수직으로 바로 들어올릴 수 없음 - 타이밍 벨트 커버 때문에 우측 끝부터 조금씩 들어올려서 간격을 만든 후 나머지를 풀어줌. 실리콘 실란트가 여러 곳에 묻어있을 수 있으므로 주의 필요. 새 가스켓으로 커버를 다시 장착할 때 토크 스펙에 맞춰 조임.
