증상

겨울 타이어 세트(미쉐린 Xice3 16인치)가 여름 타이어 세트(한국 Ventus v12 18인치)보다 14-17℃의 온화한 온도에서 연비가 좋습니다. 겨울 타이어에서 평균 29 km/L, 여름 타이어에서 약 24 km/L이 나옵니다. VW 파사트 사용, 무게 차이는 거의 무시할 수 있고(20.1kg vs 20.0kg), 현재 트레드 마모 상태의 원주 차이는 1인치 이내입니다.

처리 내용

겨울 타이어는 7℃ 이하의 낮은 온도에서만 충분한 그립감을 발휘하도록 설계되었습니다. 14-17℃의 온도에서는 겨울 타이어의 그립감이 부족하므로 굴림 저항이 효과적으로 감소합니다. 또한 정지 거리가 길어지고 코너링 시 그립감이 떨어진다는 것을 무의식적으로 인지하여 운전 스타일을 조정했을 수 있습니다. 이러한 요인들이 함께 작용하여 겨울 타이어 장착 시 더 나은 연비를 보이는 것으로 생각됩니다.
