증상
타이어 육안 검사로 어떤 정보를 얻을 수 있는가? 타이어 외측 가장자리의 과도한 마모, 내측 마모, 중앙부 마모를 어떻게 해석하는가? 한쪽 또는 한 차축의 타이어 마모가 다른 경우는 어떻게 해석하는가?
처리 내용
타이어 상태는 여러 방법으로 진단할 수 있으며, 육안 검사가 가장 기본적이다. 일반적으로 과도한 트레드 마모는 페니 테스트(링컨 동상 머리가 동전 외측 가장자리와 겹치지 않는 오래된 1센트 동전 사용)로 쉽게 확인할 수 있다. 링컨 머리의 일부가 트레드로 덮여 있으면 법적 기준의 트레드 깊이가 있는 것이다. 캠버 문제로 휠이 정렬되지 않으면 타이어 폭 전체에서 트레드 깊이가 변한다. 토 각도 문제로 정렬되지 않으면 타이어 전체에 고르게 마모되어 진단이 어렵다. 캠버(도로에 대한 타이어 각도)가 벗어나면 서스펜션 형식에 따라 약한 스프링 및 쇽 업소버로 인한 것일 수 있다. 전/후 차축 마모 차이는 여기서 확인할 수 있다. 차량의 한쪽 끝을 누르고 스프링백이 되지 않으면서 계속 위아래로 튕기면(2초 정도) 쇽 업소버 교체 시기이다.

Friday and the first time I'm out for a drive by myself. BBB was hanging with the famalam in Hereford and then meeting me at the narrow boats down in Llangattock, so I was exploring South Wales via all the two lane B roads I could find.
