증상
OBD2 데이터를 사용하여 자동차의 연료 소비량을 추정하려고 함. 일반 연료의 경우 화학량론적 공연비를 적용하면 비교적 간단하지만, 플렉스 연료(flex fuel) 차량의 경우 정확한 계산이 어려움. 각 연료의 혼합 비율을 알려주는 센서가 있는지, 또는 플렉스 연료 차량의 순간 연료 소비량이 어떻게 계산되는지 불명확함.
처리 내용
연료 분사기의 듀티 사이클(injector duty cycle)을 기준으로 계산하면 플렉스 연료 문제를 해결할 수 있음. 전체 분사기 온 타임(injector "on" time)은 공연비나 연료 종류와 관계없이 연료 소비량을 나타냄. 순간 연료 소비량은 분사기의 분사율(cc/분, lb/시간 등)과 분사기가 열려있는 시간의 곱으로 계산됨. 분사된 연료는 완전히 연소되지 않아도 소비된 것으로 간주할 수 있음. 정확한 산소 몰수나 효율 데이터가 필요한 경우는 더 복잡해지지만, 단순 연료 소비량 계산에는 분사기 데이터만으로 충분함. E85 같은 플렉스 연료는 에탄올과 다양한 가솔린 탄화수소, 흡수된 수분이 혼합되어 있으며, 정부 규제가 엄격하지 않아 정확한 구성을 파악하기 어려움.

Its utterly pointless if you think about it, extra legislation and checks for a mode of propulsion that will die out anyway in a few years.There is a ban looming for combustion engines, electric cars are getting more popular and the downsides are being ironed out.Maybe just enforce whats already there better ?
