증상
차량이 몇 개월간 방치되었던 후 프론트 타이어의 트레드 사이에 균열 발견. 균열이 얼마나 오래되었는지는 불명. 앞쪽 두 타이어에만 심한 균열이 있음. 미용상 문제와 안전상 문제의 경계선이 어디인지 불명.
처리 내용
균열은 장기간의 열과 자외선 노출로 인한 것. 타이어가 노후화되었으며 곧 교체가 필요함을 나타냄. 이 정도 크기의 균열은 그 자체로는 안전상 직접적인 위험은 아니지만, 그립력 손실의 신호로서 우천 시 제동 시 위험할 수 있음. 프론트 타이어 2개를 교체하고 리어는 보류하는 것도 합리적일 수 있으나, 타이어 마모가 심한 상태에서는 4개 동시 교체를 권장함.

Friday and the first time I'm out for a drive by myself. BBB was hanging with the famalam in Hereford and then meeting me at the narrow boats down in Llangattock, so I was exploring South Wales via all the two lane B roads I could find.
