The fact its a hideous looking amorphous blob doesn't bother them.Personally this is good news for me as older "real" cars get cheaper to buy which is what I'd rather chuck money at rather than have the 3 yearly cycle of wondering what generic white goods thing I'm going to drop a few grand deposit on and then £300 a month. Horses for courses though isn't it...Not sure why every new car buyer is portrayed as some kind of needy, status obsessed drone. Maybe they can afford a new car, dont care what the neighbours think but appreciate the warranty, the fact nobody else has the opportunity to ruin or otherwise sully it ?What are "real" cars anyway, a BYD Manatee or whatever is a real car, it exists, it goes, stops, goes round corners, carries people and stuff, what cars do ?I love how there are load of blokes telling them that there car is better, its "proper" and like they wouldnt be straight of out buying a new one if their numbers came up or great aunt Doris left them half a million. All these folk driving round in a 2006 Volvo V70 D5 telling themselves its the height of motoring nirvana, they arent a bad old bus but I bet if you put them in a new car like the one in the OP (maybe not the little thing) they would drive and then secretly realise that its actually pretty good, doesnt whiff of diesel and doesnt make any funny noises.There are Youtubers like Tony Goodman, the Macmaster and Geoff buys cars that are making money out of this demographic, I myself have a couple of older diesels, three petrols from 1977, 2015 and 2022, and guess which is the best ? So
