증상
최근 자동차 사고 후 빗길에서 브레이크를 밟아도 차량이 멈추지 않았습니다. 브레이크 페달을 끝까지 밟았지만 제동이 작동하지 않는 것처럼 느껴졌습니다. 정비사 검사 결과 브레이크 시스템에는 문제가 없었습니다. 습한 도로 상태였습니다.
처리 내용
브레이크를 펌핑하면 안 됩니다. 펌핑하면 차량이 앞뒤로 흔들려서 안정성이 떨어집니다. ABS가 있으면 브레이크 페달을 끝까지 밟고 유지하면 됩니다. 펌핑하지 마세요. 페달이 진동하는 것이 정상이며 ABS가 작동 중이라는 신호입니다. 빗길에서의 제동: 브레이크와 타이어, 포장도로가 모두 젖어 있어서 그립이 크게 떨어집니다. ABS 유무와 관계없이 정지 거리가 훨씬 길어집니다. 가장 중요한 것은 운전 조건에 맞는 우수한 그립감의 타이어를 장착하는 것입니다. 타이어의 패턴과 러버 컴파운드가 중요합니다. 사고 당시 외부 기온이 섭씨 7-10도 이하였다면 타이어 성능이 더욱 중요합니다.
