차량을 사용한 후 타이어가 완전히 펑크되어 있었음. 기술자가 휠 근처에서 엄지손가락 크기의 구멍을 발견함. 운전 중 이 정도 크기의 손상을 놓칠 수 있었는지 의문스러움. 이 정도 손상이면 즉시 펑크되고 조향에 문제가 생길 것으로 예상함.
구멍의 형태에 따라 다름. 드릴로 뚫린 것처럼 명확한 원형 구멍이라면 즉시 공기가 빠져야 함. 그러나 차량 종류, 크기/무게, 구동방식, 타이어 크기, 펑크 위치, 주행 속도, 도로 상태 등에 따라 진동, 불안정함, 소음 등 다양한 증상이 나타날 수 있음. 심하게 손상된 타이어로도 계속 주행하는 경우가 많음. 엄지손가락 크기의 손상이 타이어 케이싱을 완전히 관통하지 않은 컷이나 홈이었거나, 내부튜브가 있는 경우라면 천천히 새어서 밤새 펑크될 수 있음. 사진이 없으면 정확한 판단이 어려움.

I appreciate that this isn t a very Pistonheads kind of vehicle but I thought it might be of a little bit of interest to some. Despite the love I had for my Fiat Panda 4x4 Cross winter car, I ve always really hankered after one of the latest Suzuki Jimny s but never actually did it whilst they were officially available in the UK. However, I recently got the chance to pick up a brand new import and decided to go for it.The car is exactly as it left the factory but I did get the dealer to upgrade the tyres for me as I d read some pretty poor (snow) reviews about the Dunlop Grand Trek tyres that
