증상
2004 Mercury Sable LS Premium, DOHC 3.0L V6 엔진이 주행 중 완전히 꺼짐. 연료 압력 양호 확인됨. 스파크 없음. 크랭크 연료 차단됨. 컴퓨터에서 크랭크샤프트 센서 결함 코드 없음. 키 돌릴 때 경보 표시등 깜빡이지 않음.
처리 내용
크랭크샤프트 포지션 센서(CPS)가 고장날 때 반드시 체크 라이트가 켜지거나 코드가 설정되는 것은 아님. CPS 고장 가능성을 계속해서 점검할 것. CPS를 테스터로 신호 출력 확인, 또는 교체 후 테스트 권장. 스파크 손실과 크랭크 연료 차단이 동시 발생하는 것은 전형적인 CPS 결함 증상.

Its utterly pointless if you think about it, extra legislation and checks for a mode of propulsion that will die out anyway in a few years.There is a ban looming for combustion engines, electric cars are getting more popular and the downsides are being ironed out.Maybe just enforce whats already there better ?
