brisel said: What helped me decide to sell it was getting parts. It had 3 oil coolers and one started weeping oil. New unit was on back order for 4 months, during which time the MOT expired and I moved house to 300 miles away. Luckily my landlord allowed me to keep the car in one of his barns until the parts turned up. The other 2 coolers were showing signs of corrosion so I got rid of it. The garage I part exchanged it with for the Porsche racked up speeding fines by one of the sales reps who used it as a run around. Easily done!I had 2 facelift W204 C63s, the last of which was off the road for almost a full year with gearbox issues. Parts were on back order with Mercedes for most of that time. Pity because they were both fairly robust otherwise, repairs are to be expected but lead time for parts does seem unacceptable!Both of mine averaged very low teens MPG wise, although they were mostly used as weekend cars. The only thing I've owned which is worse on petrol is an E60 M5.
