증상
거의 운전하지 않는 차량(월 100마일)에서 휘발유를 채울 때 권장보다 높은 옥탄가의 휘발유를 사용하는 것이 이점이 있는지 궁금함. 휘발유가 오래 방치되면 옥탄가가 낮아진다는 이야기를 들었음. 이러한 이야기가 사실인지 확인하고 싶음. 만약 사실이라면 권장 옥탄가 수준을 유지하기 위해 더 높은 옥탄가 휘발유를 사용하는 것이 합리적인지 알고 싶음.
처리 내용
휘발유를 채울 때 더 높은 옥탄가를 사용하는 것은 연료비만 더 들고 실제 이점은 없습니다. 옥탄가는 휘발유가 얼마나 잘 타는지를 나타내는 등급입니다. 옥탄가가 높을수록 타기가 어렵습니다. 오히려 휘발유를 오래 방치하면 타기가 더 어려워지므로 실제로는 옥탄가가 올라갑니다. 차량을 오래 방치할 때 휘발유를 가득 채우는 것은 매우 좋은 방법입니다. 이렇게 하면 탱크 내의 공기 양을 줄여 휘발유가 흡수할 수 있는 수분량을 제한할 수 있습니다. 미국의 대부분 휘발유는 에탄올이 섞여 있으며, 에탄올은 물을 흡수합니다. 탱크 내 공기가 많을수록 더 많은 수분을 흡수할 수 있습니다(공기 중에 습기가 있다고 가정할 때). 1개월 이상 차량을 방치할 계획이라면 연료 안정제(Fuel Stabilizer) 사용도 권장합니다.

Its utterly pointless if you think about it, extra legislation and checks for a mode of propulsion that will die out anyway in a few years.There is a ban looming for combustion engines, electric cars are getting more popular and the downsides are being ironed out.Maybe just enforce whats already there better ? Didnt people vote out of the EU due to this kind of meddling ?I wouldnt say its "pointless" doing anything because India and China dont bother, its a global thing but its mainly our local air quality and really, those countries will need to see someone else doing stuff so they perhaps re
