증상
포르쉐 박스터(987) 소프트탑: 상향시 천이 프레임 안에 제대로 수납되지 않고 튀어나옴. 소프트탑 내부 고무 이완으로 인한 현상. 기존 천연고무 끈은 열에 의해 빠르게 열화되어 곧 다시 손상되는 문제 있음.
처리 내용
포르쉐 박스터(987) 소프트탑: 소프트탑 내부의 느슨해진 고무를 조정하는 것이 표준 수리 방법. 기존 천연고무 대신 내열성이 훨씬 우수한 실리콘 링 고무(헤어 고무)로 교체하여 더 오래 사용할 수 있음. 천이 튀어나오는 부분의 천과 소프트탑 프레임 사이에 실리콘 고무를 장착하면 장기적으로 열화 문제 해결 가능.

After over 30 yrs of wanting a TVR I've finally got one. My prefered car is the Sagaris but unfortunately ill never afford one of those. So i went for a Chimaera. Mainly for the Rover V8. I think they're less problematic and cheaper to run than the speed 6. This car had a new clutch, engine overhaul and the all important body off chassis restoration. It has the blue mica chameleon paint which has about 4 different colours in the sun. Went along way to see it.It looked a bit untidy compared to the pics so a little disapointed. But i gave it a good look over. Checked chassis etc. Engine started
