처리 내용

차량 내부에 보관된 스페어 타이어는 정상 주행 중 마모, 연석 충돌, 겨울철 염분, 여름 고열, UV 노출 등이 없어 일반 휠보다 느리게 열화됩니다. 그러나 시간 경과에 따라 여전히 서서히 열화됩니다. 많은 운전자들이 스페어 타이어의 정상 공기압 유지를 잊어 시간이 지나면서 변형이 발생할 수 있습니다. 오래된 타이어를 사용하면 실제 주행 시 과열되어 펑크의 위험이 높아집니다. 사용이 필요한 경우 중간 속도로 최단 거리만 주행해야 합니다. 10년 이상 경과한 타이어는 피하는 것이 좋으며, 사용한다면 주의깊게 다루어야 합니다. Space-saver도 동일한 열화 과정을 겪으므로 주기적 점검이 필요합니다.
