고부하/전개방 조건에서는 분사기가 거의 지속적으로 개방되며(분사 의무율 >90%), 높은 연료 요구도에서는 순차분사에서 뱅크분사로 전환되고 모든 분사기가 동시에 작동함. 단일 분사기로 고부하와 유휴 상태를 모두 충족시키려면 핀틀 크기와 노즐 오리피스 크기의 균형이 필요한데, 이는 장비의 질량과 응답성에 영향을 미침. 미립화 효율은 주로 오리피스 크기에 따라 결정되며, 압력강하보다 더 큰 영향을 받음. 비용 효율적인 가변 분사기는 현재 실용적이지 않으나, 신형 GDI 기술은 이러한 문제를 해소하고 냉각된 밸브에 직접 분사되지 않아 미립 입자 크기를 유지하며, 밸브/캠 위치에 영향을 받지 않는 장점이 있음

Friday and the first time I'm out for a drive by myself. BBB was hanging with the famalam in Hereford and then meeting me at the narrow boats down in Llangattock, so I was exploring South Wales via all the two lane B roads I could find.
