증상
2003 닛산 알티마 SE 3.5L에서 타이로드 교체 후 동일한 소음이 재발생. 부트가 풀려서 다시 조여주고 그리스를 추가했으나 며칠 후 다시 발생. 브레이크 사용 시 끔찍한 클릭음과 그라인딩음이 발생하며, 드라이브 주행 중 브레이크 사용 시 노킹과 삑삑거리는 소음이 계속 발생. 리버스에서는 이런 소음이 없음. 또한 아이들러 풀리가 매우 시끄럽고 간헐적으로 음이 줄어듦.
처리 내용
브레이크 시 그라인딩음은 보통 브레이크 패드 마모로 인한 것임. 타이로드 교체 후 새 패드(및 로터)를 교체하지 않은 것이 놀라움. 부트가 있는 부품에 그리스를 추가했다면 CV 조인트일 가능성이 높음. CV 조인트 파손 시 클릭음과 쿵쿵거리는 소음이 발생할 수 있음(그라인딩음은 아님). CV 조인트가 손상된 경우 해당 쪽 드라이브샤프트 전체 교체가 가장 빠르고 저렴한 솔루션. CV 조인트 점검 방법: 주차장에서 좌우 선회 시 소음 청취 - 반대 방향 CV 조인트가 손상됨(우회전 시 소음 발생 = 좌측 CV 조인트 파손). 아이들러 풀리 소음(브레이크 소음과 무관)은 최소한 아이들러 풀리 교체 필요. 권장사항: 브레이크 전문점에서 진단받고 증상 설명 후 진료 받을 것.

The great majority of decent "approved" repairers will ask the question (or you can obviously) whether you need a car for the time the car is in for repair. They generally charge either nothing or just ask that you replace the fuel you use. Been there twice also obviously.
