My other half's car for the last 5 years has been a Mercedes ML350cdi. To it's credit it's was one of the most comfortable cars we've owned. Incredibly practical for a family of five but it was becoming costly. Last year we spent £1k on incidental repairs not including servicing etc. This year the A/C pump packed up but it also developed a timing chain rattle on cold. Audi A5 1.8T 엔진 작업(밸브, 타이밍 체인, 흡기측 캠축 교체) 후 문제 발생. 시동은 정상, 음향도 정상이지만: 저부하 주행 시(기어 상관없음) 스로틀 위치를 일정하게 유지하면 차량이 간헐적으로 흔들림. RPM 게이지가 변동하고 차량에서 진동 감지됨. 미스파이어처럼 느껴짐. 흔들림 상태에서 벗어나려면 스로틀을 해제하거나 부하를 증가시켜야 함.

1994 올즈모빌 컷래스 시에라 3100 엔진. 연속으로 크랭킹 3회 후 멈추고, 키를 끄고 다시 시도하면 1-2회만 크랭킹 후 배터리 방전. 새 배터리, 새 연료펌프, 연료필터, 타이밍체인, 크랭크센서, 캠센서, 스타터 교체했는데도 시동 불가.
