증상
2007 미니 쿠퍼에서 후진 및 전진부에서 연기 발생. 구입 후(8/27/14) 9/9에 처음 발생했으며, 장거리 주행 시 주로 연기 발생. 단거리 주행 시에는 연기 없음. 진공 펌프 및 풀플로우 오일 필터 씰에서 배기관으로 오일이 누유되는 것으로 진단됨.
처리 내용
미니의 오일 필터 엘리먼트는 특이한 구조를 가지고 있습니다. 필터의 한쪽 끝에는 러버 씰이 있고 다른 쪽 끝에는 씰이 없습니다. 필터 엘리먼트를 장착할 때 러버 씰이 있는 쪽을 외부(엔진에서 멀어지는 방향)로 향하게 하고 캡 쪽으로 설치해야 합니다. 러버 씰 쪽이 엔진을 향하도록 역방향으로 장착하면 오일 압력 문제가 발생합니다. 필터 엘리먼트를 올바른 방향으로 재설치하여 확인하세요.

Its utterly pointless if you think about it, extra legislation and checks for a mode of propulsion that will die out anyway in a few years.There is a ban looming for combustion engines, electric cars are getting more popular and the downsides are being ironed out.Maybe just enforce whats already there better ?
